Must-read

"Is it immoral for pundits/bloggers/journalists to make forecasts about things in which they have no stake?"

It's been the position of Punditbook that forecasters (columnists, political analysts, economists...) must put some skin in the game. Money, reputation... something.

A weighted, odds-adjusted prediction history, summarized in metrics akin to sports stats (win %, slugging, recent streak) would be an illuminating tool.

Pay the players

Poll shows Romney taking lead in Pennsylvania.

Santorum needed a win in Ohio, or at least Illinois or Wisconsin. He came close, but no cigar.
